01 / WHO WE ARE

Safari Magic in the Heart of Africa

Black Santa Tours & Safaris is a Nairobi-based company run by Kenyans and former safari guides. We plan journeys through the parks, people and landscapes we grew up with, and we only recommend places we know first-hand.

Every itinerary starts with a conversation about what you want to see, how you like to travel and what you want to spend. From there we build the route, the pace and the accommodation around you.

06 / FEATURED EXPERIENCE · MAASAI MARA

Meet Kenya in the Wild

The Maasai Mara is open grassland, river crossings and big skies, a half-day drive from Nairobi. Lions, elephants, buffalo, cheetahs and leopards live here year-round, alongside hippos and crocodiles in the Mara River.

For part of each year the Great Migration brings large herds of wildebeest and zebra across from the Serengeti. Timing shifts with the rains, so we plan migration trips around the latest conditions rather than fixed dates.
